Overseas | Smurfit Kappa acquires Brazilian packaging company Paperbox
Recently, European packaging giant Smurfit Kappa announced the acquisition of Brazilian packaging producer PaperBox, continuing to expand its position in the Latin American corrugated board market.
The acquisition of PaperBox's corrugated packaging plant in Saquarema, about 70 kilometers east of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will further expand Smurfit Kappa's corrugated board production capacity.
